2000年代初頭、NTBLSは、naiad、CRANK、Last One Standing、NORDe、Ways to Destroy、Deserveらと共に、隆盛を極めた京都Hardcoreシーンのニューホープとして華々しくデビューし、瞬く間にその名を全国区にする。
2006年、ALCATRIZE RECORDSより発表された1st EP「TRAGIC ORCHESTRA」にて多くのプロップスを得て全国ツアー公演・韓国公演を成功させ、数々の海外アーティストのサポート、音楽フェス「PUMP UP THE VOLUME」「FREE STYLE OUTRO」「京都大作戦」などに出演。その後、幾多のメンバーチェンジにより活動停止。
2010年冬、期間限定で音源2曲を無料ダウンロード配信。ようやく活動を再開するも、NTBLSの屋台骨のひとつであったVo.TAFが脱退。
サンプラー・シンセサイザー導入とVo.TAF氏脱退でインストゥルメンタル・バンドへと深化を遂げる。
2014年7月、インストゥルメンタル・バンドとなってから初の音源、3曲入りEP「Life is Helix」をリリース。
紆余曲折と試行錯誤を経て、緩やかながらも着実に自らが目指す音楽性を具現化していった新生【NOTIIBELIKESOMEONE】
核となるNew School Hardcore、Post-Hard coreを基に、Alternative、Shoegazer、Post-Metal、Post-Rock、Electronica、Abstruct Hip Hop、dubstep、ビート・ミュージック等、様々な音楽性を独自のセンスで昇華吸収したハイブリッド且つ、唯一無比なバンドサウンド。
持ち前の叙情的メロディー・センスが、静と動を使い分けた緩急のある演奏と、エレクトロニクスの融合により見事開花。
中毒性の高いリズムの絶妙な揺らぎ加減、よりシンプルに削ぎ落とされた音数の中で浮かび上がるフレーズ。いずれも過去のエクストリームなイメージを踏襲しながらも、New School Hardcore、Post-Hard coreという枠に囚われず新たに挑戦し続ける姿は、彼らの選択が深化への道程であったことを強く印象付ける。
Gt.Hajime は、大阪Hardcoreシーン重要バンドEX-Cのヘルプメンバーとしても活動し、SMD CREWの一員。台湾在住の旅人ビートメイカーShaoz aka DJ U-CANとの楽曲にも参加。
Gt.ARAKI は、神戸Undergroundイベント「HARVEST」を主催するKRSの一人。現在は、CIRCUS CREWを率いてHardcoreとHip Hopのクロスオーバーイベント「CIRCUS」を主催。
NTBLSは、神戸IndipendentミュージックスタジオBappleをホームスタジオとし活動、自主企画「PROPAGANDA」を不定期で開催。

Around the beginning of millennium,
NOTTOBELIKESOMEONE (NTBLS) was formed in Kyoto and shared the stages with naiad, LAST ONE STANDING,Ways To Destroy, CRANK, NORDe, the time Kyoto Hard Core scene was at the climax.
So soon NTBLS became the biggest hope of Kyoto underground hard core scene.
in 2006, they released their debut EP “Tragic Orchestra” from ALCATRIZE Records and supported band such as BANE, MISERY SIGNALS, TRAGEDY and lot of oversea bands. Their Release tour in Japan and Korea made them even bigger.
Shortly after they’ve appeared on major festivals “FREE STYLE OUTRO”, “PUMP UP THE VOLUME” “KYOTO Mission Impossible” minor departures of band members occurred and had to stop the band.
Winter of 2010, they have made 2 songs and uploaded only on the web site for a very short period and they were about to begin their second series then the important singer TAF decided to leave the band.
They changed the style, without a vocal and welcomed new synthesizer/PC manipulator member and started a whole new expression as a instrumental band.
July 2014, first 3 tracks EP as a new NTBLS “Life is Helix” was released.
Twist and turn but here they come as a whole new style and indicating the new expression of sound and life.

Their fundamental as a New School/post hard core band and now putting elements of alternative,shoegazer, post metal, Post-Rock, Electronica、Abstruct Hip Hop, dubstep taste in and making it so smooth into their one and only original “NTBLS” sound.
Their epic melancholic melodies blend in perfectly with the unpredictable beats that gives dynamics and special characters in the sound.
The addictive flow of the rhythms, the guitar riffs and phrases cut down into simple format makes their sound stand out and gives a unique atmosphere to all.
The original core as a new school hard core band you cannot identify at once but can see that they have gone through so many hardships and histories that is finally making them so special. A band that gone through the histories gains tight bond and power.
Guitarist Hajime also plays in Osaka’s one of the most important band EX-C and belongs to SMD Crew. He worked with globally travelling track maker Shaoz aka DJ U-CA who lives in Taiwan.
The other guitarist Araki leads the Kobe underground association KRS. He now belongs to CIRCUS CREW who organize Hip Hop x Hard core events.
NTBLS uses a independent rehearsal studio in Kobe the “BAPPLE” and once in a while organizes the event “PROPAGANDA”.
